Dear Lee:
Thank you for your comment. It expresses the kind of frustration and anger that many men feel when they attempt to communicate with their wives/girlfriends. Unfortunately, both men and women have a tendency to perceive situations only from their own perspective and are unable or unwilling to consider their partner's point of view which may be different. Only by learning to really listen with an open mind, a commitment to remain calm and not be reactive, and a willingness to hear a different point of view will enable couples to discuss and resolve issues successfully. This requires learning some new communication skills. We are concerned and committed to helping couples learn how to communicate better because it is so essential to successful, mutually fulfilling relationships. Again, thanks for your comments.
...But if you asked them why their man has remained "closed mouth" when they attempt to talk at home, most women couldn't answer that question..
Why are communication failures in relationships always laid at the feet of the male parties? Is there any possibility that your man has been trying to communicate, but you just are not receiving? Is there any possibility that he has given up in frustration because he cannot get through to you? Is there any possibility that you are too lazy or too ignorant or too involved to rightly apprehend what he has tried to say?
