Can this marriage be saved is a question often asked of marriage counselors. Is it possible? Absolutely! Can it? Well, that’s up to the two people involved.

Below, we’ve listed 20 key items that are important to restoring and maintaining a successful marriage. We suggest that you place a plus sign (+) or a minus sign (-) next to each item as you read them. If you prefer, you may make two columns – one for you and the other for your spouse. Total your + and – responses after you’ve read through the entire list.

“Do the hard work required to build and maintain a successful marriage.” Dedication and commitment should go hand in hand to save marriage. As long as both of you picture a happy relationship, try everything to rekindle the love and start a fulfilling relationship. Take a moment each day for your spouse and let them know you’re thinking about them throughout the day. No matter what kind of problems you are going through, you have to remain strong and don't give up on in saving the marriage.

Hi Badeth:

Thank you so much for your response.  We both agree with you how important it is to have the focus and to do the work.

Warmly,
