Should all 4 spouses (adults involved in the 2 families) have input on parenting time and arrangement of visitation?

The ideal situation would be for all four spouses to agree on parenting and visitation.  I repeat.  That's the ideal.  In fact, we recommend whenever possible for all 4 spouses to have regular meetings to discuss the ways that they will collectively support their children.  When that happens, it's great.  However, unfortunately, rarely does this happen in the real world.  If that's the case, then the next best option is for the birth parents to work out the details regarding parenting and visitation.  Sometimes that can be a problem especially if they still have anger issues with each other.  In those situations, we recommend that they seek the help of a counselor to assist them in working out those details for the children's benefit.  Hope this was helpful.
